"Does this ever happen at anyone else's house?" Part II

Do you ever agree to teach beginning Spanish, choose a curriculum, make parents angry by having them spend about $90/YEAR for their child's instruction, book and supplies and then just as things get settled get moved to intermediate Spanish?

Just to do the whole thing over again?

The whole process makes me think maybe I'm not an educator after all.

Tee hee...that's a very Ben-like statment. :) I'm referring to your comment on teambubu.
Well I think it's wonderful that you're teaching Spanish. That means one less child to learn spanish from a teacher with a heavy Arkansan accent, such as my experience.

Poor alice. i bet thats frustrating. Paying 90$ a year for Spanish is a lot better than we pay--for such a fine teahcer too!

Alice, I bet you're a great educator! I can't say that I've ever had this happen, but I know I've made some parents pretty angry with me while teaching! Hang in there!
