Intriguing Bible Lessons

Here's the bedtime conversation between Joel and Silas:

Silas:  "I was faithful at church today!"
Joel:  "Oh?  What does faithful mean?"
Silas: "It means you bake someone a birthday cake on their birthday..."
Joel: "Oh, that's nice.  What else could you do that is nice?"
Silas: "Gordon was nice when he pulled Thomas out from the smoke and fire..."
Joel: "You're right.  What could you do that is nice?"
Silas: "I could pull Micah out from a puddle when a snake drags him in."
Joel:  "You're right.   You probably could do that."

Yes, we're teaching our children lessons with an exceedingly limited scope.

Alice, your kids say the best stuff. I hope ours are even half as clever:)
