Spring has got me feeling all creative (and stuff). Friday night we had this theme dinner:

"Home on the Range"
Menu:
  • Eggs-in-a-basket with cowboy hat cut-outs cooked with butter on the range*
  • Cowboy hat mini-toasts with strawberry jam
  • Sautéed broccoli & carrots with prairie garlic and fresh sage
  • Sweet iced cream

Unfortunately no one was allowed to eat ice cream because that was the day Silas and Micah ate all the chocolate before breakfast.

*a cooking stove that has an oven and a flat top with burners or heating elements
