heath, if there's one thing i learned from child psych, it's that children should not be spanked prior to being able to understand the reason for the spanking. so we're saving up all of silas' spankings until he's a bit older. he's got 14 saved thus far.

Our policy has always been to spank babies who do not eat their rice cereal- you might give that a try.
