I made baby food. I carefully read about all the fruits and vegetables Silas can eat and then we all took a trip to Walton's Market. After two hours of cooking and freezing, NOT including cleanup, and calculating the cost of the food against the cost of canned babyfood per ounce, I think we saved about $2.
Joel did our taxes today. Silas is really raking in the big bucks for us. Looks like we'll be able to pay our rent in June after all!
This video was taken on our last real day of winter. Silas and I took a little trip to the Apple Store to make an appointment with the Genius. We always feel like real city people when we shop in that part of town. What do you think Silas is trying to tell us here? All I know is that he's not sad/mad.

Silas must be trying to say something profound. When I showed it to Eleanor, she bounced, kicked, flapped and grinned. Then she wiped her nose. I'm still working on the interpretation.
She obviously understood.
He wants to be some sort of screaming bird I can't remember the name of and fly out the window. Its good that you didn't let him jump though. The last time I tried to fly I jumped off the treadmill and bumped my head on some of my daddy's weights. I realize now how stupid that was but I'm going to try to do it again pretty soon.
Love,
Ava
This video made me laugh out loud

Ava, I appreciate your persistence in learning to fly, just as you have learned to pull up on furniture. You're such a big girl. Yes you are! Yes, you are!!! Give Anabelle and Marci hugs and kisses for us. And thanks again for your interpretation of Silas' video message.
Timinmg is everything... I viewed the video with Air One Radio in the background. Just as Silas began saying "I love my Pops (aka, grandpa) and he is terrific" 9that's the official interpretation..), the words coming out of the radio were "shouting out...".
Perhaps Silas is practicing to be a DJ???
Maybe he saw something happening in someone elses window, just like Jimmy Stewart in "Rear Window. " Tell Silas to keep a camera handy, just in case.
